The Plant Dane! cost-share program provides native plants at reduced prices to help you establish rain gardens, native plantings and prairie restoration.
Once established, natives do not require the maintenance inputs that turf and ornamentals need. Native wildflowers provide blooms season round and provide a home for beneficial insects and food for birds.
Plants are $1.80 each. Each species ordered must be ordered in multiples of four.
Program details and order form are available online here. Participants complete the order form online, then print out the completed order form and mail the form with a check.
All payments with orders must be received no later than May 13, 2011. Plants will be delivered on June 25.
